The Runway
Westwind runway is located at N 35 32.779' / W084 31.611'. Traffic control is 122.75 There are actually two runways here. One is 1050' and the other 870' with good approaches at either end. There are electric hookups on the field, water, and a very nice bath house if you just need to drop in for relief. If you plan on coming by please do a fly-by first. There are usually RC pilots on the field having fun. Directions:

Click On Runway Image For A Map. If you plan on driving in to Westwind via I-75 exit on ramp 60. Go south on Hwy. 68 to the second traffic light and turn right on Hwy. 11 heading South. Go four miles and turn right on county road 323 and look for runway on your left less than a mile.
